How Eternal Collagen Works?

Eternal Collagen contains type I and type III hydrolysed marine collagen. Type I is the main collagen found in skin, hair and nails, while type III is often present alongside type I in skin and other connective tissues, helping to support their structure and elasticity.

The collagen is sourced from responsibly farmed fish skin and broken down into smaller collagen chains in a process called hydrolysis. This produces collagen peptides that the body can absorb and use as building blocks for its own collagen.

Type I and III marine collagen are interstitial matrix collagens organised in fibrils, which are important for the normal structure and strength of tissues such as skin and bones.

Unlike products that provide only the amino acids glycine, proline and hydroxyproline, hydrolysed collagen supplies a broader range of amino acids arranged as collagen peptides. This means the body receives components in a form that can be absorbed and transported to the extracellular matrix, where collagen is naturally found.

Eternal Collagen also includes vitamins and other nutrients that work together to support the normal maintenance of skin, hair, nails and connective tissue, when used as directed as part of a varied, balanced diet and healthy lifestyle.
